range of eddy-current and AC Dynamometers
to suit the complete range of testing
applications from small industrial,
to heavy-duty diesel and high-performance
motorsport engines. Our dynamometers
are ideal for applications in all areas
of research and development and quality
audit of the prime mover and its component
assemblies as well as complete powertrain
systems.
The eddy-current range of bi-directional,
single, twin or triple rotor dynamometers
offer robust, reliable and competitive
solutions used for the absorption and
control of speed and load of the test
specimen, suitable for steady-state
and transient testing. Key attributes
of the dynamometer range are low inertia,
high speed and torque capability. Complementing
the standard range we also provide
enhanced solutions on request.
Our AC
Dynamometers are tailored to meet client
specifications, utilising the latest
technology and integrating market-leading
industrial drives and motors to produce
the optimum dynamometer system. The
accurate measurement and control of
torque is achieved optionally by a
load cell or torque flange. In the
latter case, the torque is measured
directly from the output shaft of the
test specimen.
