Emissions testing is a vital and highly specialist field and
at CP Engineering our experience spans engine and vehicle development,
validation and type approval testing. For heavy-duty diesel
transient testing or chassis systems for passenger cars, our
commitment is to deliver unmatched accuracy, repeatability,
traceability and reporting. Our engineers continue to develop
solutions from increasing the library of global Standard test
cycles to the development, in partnership with Caterpillar and
Sierra Instruments, of the first dynamic partial flow particulate
measurement system to achieve EPA approval. This provides accurate
control, measurement and analysis through the whole engine cycle
including gear changes for steady-state and transient conditions.
The automated emissions test facility is becoming a reality
with our enterprise software packages Cell Manager and Lab Manager,
for optimising test scheduling, back-to-source calibration traceability,
cell condition diagnostics, project data storage and automatic
report generation.
